BMW Driver Training Cars
Did anybody ever get a list of the cars that were used for the free driver training we got back in the day? Do people still try and avoid them when buying as they had the shit kicked out of them and the secret switch wired in to turn off ABS / BFD etc?

They are probably the sought after examples with the extremely low mileage, that sell for ridiculous money 1 previous owner BMW GB!
6 cars from the July 03 production batch were termed 'Data Protected' and were used by BMW GB as press/publicity cars, you're probably looking at one.

I wouldn't be concerned about it anymore.
Most have had trackdays and been driven hard and if they were sold under warranty, the bits would have been swapped out by now if used heavy and if not warranty will cover it. As always buy with warranty if you are gonna put the miles on it, and want to preserve the value.
