Had a look at a GTR and was interested but didn't like the lack of serious track time due to trans temp issues, couldn't believe how quick they were as standard and loved the gearbox. Big heavy barge and like Shane has said it will eat tyres and brakes and need a service quite often this is the main reason i chose the Pork.

I bought a cheaper car because i have some plans for the car, yes it is costing as much as the car on mods if not more but will be looking at a conversion that has be timed at

3.0 sec to 60mph

6.5 sec to 100mph

200+mph

7.0 sec 60mph - 130mph

I know that the slush box isn't the best on track but i'm loving it on the roads

Will keep you updated with progress.

Judging by his slush box comment it can't be gt2 shim

Good luck with the project and keep us updated.

Who is doing the work stu, are you upgrading the auto box valve block and torque converter too?

Nine excellence are doing the work, gearbox being sent to Germany for strengthening and overhaul.

usual add on and going for there new K16/39 turbos for spool up.

Read about the conversion i'm going for here

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/t...ts+-+wow&mid=0

Good stuff Stu. Those boys know their turbo pork. I've had a short blast as a passenger at Brunters in one of their demo motors. Very fuckin' impressive indeed.
