I Had a cooper S three years ago and have to say it was the best car i have every owned so far. it did everything and although small it managed to lug around me, friends and most luggage
i spent about 4k on it and managed to get it dyno'd at 238bhp after the work. Total hoot and even with the CSL im hankering for a new one. its quite thirsty and id proably go for the tubro s or even the diesel these days. afterall its the chassis thats the golden nugget on the car.. ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by TommyR; 11-12-2011 at 02:02 PM. |

That one looks great Tommy, but I think I want an OE one and just let I be. I really wan a turbo newer one BUT I don't think I'll do more than 5000 a year and company owned and maintained so cost for running will be reduced. A guy on cutters has a nice s/c cooper s for about £5k nearby, I might take a look.
