On line insurance - check your details!!
Just been getting quotes for renewal on the csl. Tried comparethemarket.com and went with direct performance who were the 3rd cheapest ( hadn't heard of the first 2). When they rang to confirm some details they said the car had an average value of £13,000. Obviously I said no, alter the value to £30,000 and re-quote, which they did. After a short chat I asked why the value was wrong, they said that the comparethemarket.com site "assumed an average" value and that all their quotes would have been based on this value. It was luck for me that direct performance are a small company who don't have a direct website to "buy on-line" and they confirm details over the phone.
In short - beware of the on-line only sites. Perhaps the csl now requires some specialists insurance? These cars are getting quite difficult to replace if you are after a sub 30,000 mileage example with lots of history etc etc.
