Default Wheel Bearing???

Chaps,

I have a noise coming from the rear drivers side wheel, sounds like a drone and gets louder and louder as speed increases.

Could this be alignment? or the bearing? I recently caught a roundabout whilst driving to work a few months back, which I am sure caused it, however its gotten worse.

Obviously as I caused this, what is the price for a new bearing? or should I leave it for the Warranty check over from either Murkets or Stratstone

Cheers
Thomas

mine sounded the same, turned out to be fooked upper (i think) bushes in both rear arms (not RTAB), pigs to get out, had to cut off the bolts to replace.

I was convinced it was rear bearing, id even bought one as spare

What tyres are you running and how much tread have they got?

I had the same thing 2 years ago. Drone sounding like a wheel bearing, Sytner looked at it and said all was fine and that the tyres get noisy when they are getting low. I changed the tyres when they were on the markers and the drone went away. New tyres are getting low now and the drone is back! Car is running PS2's.
