Unless you have one!

If its panel only and air box and engine is ok you could make some money ESP if its not recorded cat c/d

Depends on shell, air box and engine really

Thats why I would never bid blind on something like this, always view and thoroughly inspect first.

If it's not recorded this could make someone a few quid

Fit a replica bumper, cheap and easy, if done well hard to tell too.

Agreed, it would be silly to think with a few parts it could be fixed cheaply. What you've got to think is that Shane sold his cat D CSL with 30k on it recently for £19,999 (well that's what he advertised it for). This has got double the miles, so you'd have to get it pretty cheaply to make good money on it.

Difference is this may not be recorded cat c/d which would make a big difference.

Prices all fixed could vary from £16-22k so it could be a nicer earner or money pit depending on the damage beneath.

I'm no expert but can't be worth anymore than £11k - prob better to strip and sell the parts

Air box £3k
Engine and loom £3k
Seats £2k
Rims £500
Interior £3k
£11.5 already with some easy labour.

Not to mention:

Bootlid £500
Rear LED's £200
Exhaust £500-£1200 (depending on Supersprint parts)
Diff £200-300?
Survived suspension and brake parts? £500
CF roof? £500
That's not counting the glass, doors and other panels.

There's another £3K! Would be a waste to break an unregistered car though.

£9K??? Surely this wasn't what they offered you??? Or, is this the balance?

Judging by the photos in your other thread, this is 99% your car. What's the story with the rear axle? Judging by the impact, I wouldn't assume anything would be wrong with the rear end, diff etc, I suppose it could be when it's been lifted and put back down by a fork lift truck, the wheels haven't turned and therefore haven't had a chance to sit right. Think of when you jack your car up and lower it back onto it's wheels, you need to take the Handbrake off and roll it a bit until it sits right. That could put people off and keep the bidding down... ;-)

What happened mate, if you don't mind us asking. This world of CSL ownership is getting smaller every day.

Sorry, just read your other threads. I remember you posting before about the dodgy overtaking manoeuvre right enough.
