I'm well up for a big deployment of CSLs at a trackday and would naturally wish to attend.
Can't see the idea of driving each others cars though. Can certainly see it going wrong ;-) I was at snetterton yesterday with mine - UB was there with his CS/CSL project - the cars are completely different purely down to the tyres. Whilst he was smoking round on R888s I was constantly having to deal (and fail in some cases) with a very loose rear end. And the car ;-) Its almost like control tyres are designed for a reason ;-) |

what tyres you on titan (what do you mean by control tyres)?
(as for things going wrong, easy fix as we all have CSLs so no need fopr it to get nasty) Quote:

Brian went for the european stretched look ;-)
Currently got 225 front and 255 rear conti sports on the CSL wheels. I have a set of cups in the garage though My point about the control tyre is that from what you are saying, you'd like to arrive at a conclusion to what mods work well, but if there is a massive range of tyres being used its an unfair comparison. Would still be ace to rock up with a bunch of CSLs on a trackday though |

Titan
Agree about the difference in Tyres but I think you'll find that we all mainly use Cups as our control tyre which if you keep at the right pressure and don't overheat are the best road Tyres available. If Mattcslnut hoping in we may have a set of lardy Dunlops to compare with. Quote:
