Default self healing CSL?

Haven't been out in her for a while, but needs must...so started her early this morning and had a little red "bulb not working" light on in the dash. Sure enough one of the front side light bulbs wasn't working...

I thought well that's a good excuse to kick some tyres at the local BMW dealer and get a new bulb (not gonna be a fortune surely, even from them, for just a side light)

Anyhow finished my game of golf, started her up again but the light on the dash didn't come on, and the bulb was working.

There's some clever magic in these CSL's obviously.

Had similar with a Z3MC once, the passenger side central locking always used to play up, but after a session round Brands Hatch it never happened again!
