Collected mine from Bartlett's today after having the boot floor repaired
New brake lines, diff seal, front wheel bearings including back plates and a few odds and ends

My 1st real drive back to Kent and my overriding thought is why do people complain about the SMG ? I found it no problem in slow traffic and a blast on the open road
I'm not just saying this but so far for me it's better than a manual and suits the car perfectly and love the blip on the downshift

Now on to the cosmetics
Booked in for Friday at KDS in Gillingham for paint and detailing and wheels are going next door to Lepsons for refurb and new cups

Got a few nice remarks from fellow motorists as I was stuck in traffic at the Blackwall tunnel so all is good in the world

First of all mate CSL is a manual it's the clutch that's automated ... and second of all, majority of SMG complainers have never driven the CSL so have no valid opinion on the subject matter
It's rare to hear an actual CSL owner complain about SMG if anything most say it actually compliments the whole CSL experience, especially after a day out on Track
Sure it takes a little while to get your head around it but I've always like the SMG in my CSL, whether it's in heavy London traffic or flying down the Fox Hole @ the Ring. I love it's analogue nature, the clonkiness and the drama it provides in S6
Enjoy

When are you collecting the car?
Back over for the Silverstone Classic a week on Friday, hopefully with the Cesil set for another 10 years of storage

Thanks Matt, was a bit of a rush job: ferry-drive-drop-train-plane-beer. Back in Dublin now, debating whether more beer is a better alternative to sleep!

No worries mate and you certainly don't need my permission for that but go for it
