RELAX Buddy, just playing with The Shimster......When he told me his best time, I thought i'd get reasonably close, even on my first visit.....NOWHERE FECKIN NEAR as it turns out....just under 2.49 for me

That was cause i was doing your lines mate

on Sy's stopwatch it was 2.29

I'd heard some pretty poor reports about Bedford (flat and boring), but i found it really good, technical in places, with balls of steel required to find the right braking points (back straight into the chicane for one).....I can see how it could become boring, but i'll defo be going back to Smash Shimmys best time
I'm booked in, was there two years ago march and got lucky, but as you say it could be shit!! Hopefully see you there, m3,s nearly kitted out.

Phew I was thinking how the hell

And that report sums it up well, was expecting to find it boring but it's not, it's actually a really hard circuit to master! 150m marker for me was the braking point at the back straight, could just about scrub enough speed off and chuck it in

typical GPS speeds were 83-85mph (clock speed about 87-90) whereas I did manage a 90mph GPS (95 mph clock speed)
