Csl gone to a new home
Well the car left my ownership today and I must say it has gone to a good home, I am sure Malcolm will have as much fun owning this car as much as I did and would like to wish him the very best with the car and look forward to meeting up with him and the rest of you lot at future CSL events, the people and characters {YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE} on this forum and at ELMS have made owning a CSL a pleasure, I hope that even though I don't own a CSL now I would still like to be a part of the CSL community and events even though I will be in a 1M , Regards John

A very sad day John Commiserations mate
So long as there are no pointless comparisons between " Cecil the Great " and the " 1M the pretender" you're always welcome on here mate Have you found yourself a 1M yet ? Which colour are you aiming for ?

There will be no comparisons, I have made some calls but not driven one yet, its like trying to buy a CSL again hard work, colour wise Valencia orange with a few carbon bits with black wheels is the dream but colour would not bother me if the right car came along, the cars for sale are mostly with dealers at the moment so I may have to wait until the track season ends before more private ones come up for sale, the search continues

A 1M is probably the only car I would swap a CSL for brilliantly capable car, and I love the Interior.
We have a Valencia Orange one for Sale on the Munich Legends website at the moment. Lots of interest though, so if you're interested be quick Www.Munichlegends.co.uk Its nice to know they aren't depreciating too, you can't say that about many BMW's at the moment! Good luck with the search, you've picked a future classic & a damn good car. My second favourite BMW of the last 25 years |

Malcolm
Hi, been in the background here for some while now picking up lots of invaluable information, but now very happy to say I'm the proud owner of S1 CSL, so very happy now! Buying a CSL can be a fairly daunting task but I genuinely believe I've got the right car. John is a character and he was the right guy to buy a car from. Look forward to meeting some of you in the future.
