ANY1 HAD AN RS6
Just wondering if anyone has had an Audi RS6 before the CSL and any comparisons?
The insurance has come out the same as my S3 and did consider for a spit second, but the CSL is still top of my list. Insurance on the CSL has come out a little more than expected, did a quote out of interest on a V8 Vantage and was £400 cheaper than the CSL. Damn the CSL must be good!!! Z4M was £780 cheaper than the CSL, Audi RS4 B7 £750 cheaper too, just to share. |

I thought you could 'fiddle' your quotes anyway to get the CSL cheap?

Depends what you want out of a car, if its space then an RS6 is great. The Plus model is extremely quick but they are all pants to drive. They may be good relatively speaking, but ultimately they weigh two tons...

Not owned one but driven a few....very fast but bored me...Not a fan of fast Audi's. They are very efficient but just do not excite. A quality product but cold. Just my opinion mind.

On the insurance note, I (28 year old) got a quote the other day from Admiral, £470 for the 10 month Bonus accelerator, with 5 NCB with the Fiance (26) driving too.
I COULD NOT believe it, so saved the quote as its due for renewal end of Feb, but will be buying as soon as I get home end of Jan. Last year it was £700. The Chief Engineer on the ship is £500+ for a 320d, and he's as old as the hills. Has to be the area. |

Many apologies, I stand corrected...£436.15. Granted with a £1000 voluntary excess but at that money, you can't complain, IMHO. Especially since I was paying £2k a couple of years ago on an £7k E36. Happy motoring!
