Brake pedal feel BBK on track.
Morning All,
Quick post to pass some time and gain some knowledge. When braking full force with 265 r888 all round in full fat m3 runing 356mm ksports and blue stuff pads on heaving braking tracks (bedford) i find the initial bite great and linear, However on the back straight i find you have to push the brake exponentially harder to get it to stop at max rate. Is this a function of the pads, increased grip, faulty brake survo? At brake friendly tracks like donny i had no issues and brakes were great. What do you rekon? K-Sports showing their budget? Should i go for RS29 instead of Blue? Ive used EBC on my last two track cars but they were both about 350kg lighter than my m3 so perhaps the blue's are a little out of their depth with the weight? What you rekon? |

Like the man says, dump the EBC. Not meant for heavy cars.

Will it be ok to keep blue on the rear and rs29 on the front? I just cant bring myself to spend over £500 of a set of pads....

Changed my mind and gone for Carbon Lorraine RC6 compound.
I also had a strange judder / wobble at Donington which is really distracting. I think i have a wheel in-balance, but also on the weekend when i got the brakes hot a small amount of brake judder started. Hoping this is just contamination from over working the blue stuffs that the RC6 will clear at silverstone. Sound plausible? We shall see. Thanks for the advice.
