6 series inbound?
After my escapade with the 730d I am seriously thinking about getting one of these 640d on Monday.
These guys are running the offer. £334 a month for £70k car - what's the catch? 51.4mpg combined 5.3s 0-60mph 313bhp 630Nm torque 4 seats Msport package

Compulsory medallion, sovereign ring and a splash of blue stratos I think.
I see no downside for you then. I say go for it mate (but spec the optional 8 track ice) |

I was looking round one of the 640d Gran Coupe's is it they call it? It's an MASSIVE car and I think it's gorgeous. They go like f**k apparently, just looking at the figures are impressive.
Think I'm a bit young for a 6 series though. Have to say, after the few days I spend in the 320d AUTO TOURING I was enjoying the lazy drive and worst of it is, so was her indoors. |

You won't get anywhere near the 51mpg claimed.
That's the only catch I see. |

the 730d was averaging 35.5mpg, guess a 640d (3.0 TT) would do about 32mpg
