anyone know or seen this csl - HX53 CKO
well having thought I'd made up my mind that I was looking for a 911 I've now started looking at both M46 M3's and CSL's
I would be looking at the lower end of CSL prices and searching through the classifieds found this one http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2302940.htm Has anyone been to see it? Not knowing much about CSL's one concern I have is how difficult it would be to sell a 70-75k mile car next year is this likely to be a nightmare? The dealer doesn't get the best reports on Pistonheads due to GT3 he had for sale. |

Personally, I don't think you would have any issues selling a car with 70-75k miles on it, for the right money of course. There's an abundance of people out there looking for sub £20K CSL's and those that don't mind the 'higher' mileage ones. There a couple of guys on here with mileage in that region and I'm sure they'll be along soon to tell you what to look out for in these cars
Welcome to the Forum btw, I'm guessing by the Username you have an E30 M3 too? Photos to follow thank you! |

Welcome to the forum Andy. That reg is familiar to me but i cannot remember where from lol!
The seller doesn't quite know their CSL spec either as it apparently has: Alcantara Leather, Centre Armrest, Height Adjustable Seat, Side Air Bags. 'Factory options' include: Brembo brakes, adjustable ride height, Carbon shift paddles. Erm...

Thanks for the replies, I'd agree that the dealer doesn't really seam to know anything much about the car, Not sure how he missed the large AP badge on each calliper!
In many ways I'd rather buy a car privately but am not having a great deal of luck selling my S2000 so thought I'd see what sort of deal he can offer. I would have the car checked over before parting with any cash as I've seen picture of a quite badly crashed GT3 which is now for sale through the same guy, he's very reluctant to disclose the cat D on the GT3. Also have had an E30 M3 for a number of years, had an E36 M3 evo so the E46 feels like the natural progression although I'm not 100% convinced I like the idea of SMG, wish there was a manual option. A couple of pics of the E30 below. |

Interestingly, that ad isn't even posted in the M3 section - it's down with the regular E46 motors...?
