CSL off at the ring
I was washing the car this morning and a chap in a satellite van pulled up to have a chat. He has a black CSL which he loves to death but last weekend he had 130mph off at the ring Ouch hats must have hurt. Hit hit the front end and clipped the back. He managed to patch the car up at one of the local garages to bring it home...had to have a normal M3 bumper etc.......told him to get himself on here so he can tell us the full story and maybe with pics....

From what he I can gather he would normaly run Cups or the like for track days but put coopers on the car and these were not up to the jobs. Couldn't keep the car on the road at high speed.

I think he was there with Circuit Days, I was talking with Chris and he said they lost two cars a CSL and I think the other was a 911.
They are quite fair with the crash barrier costs, good friend of mine hit the barrier last time we were there and they only charged him 2850 euro for 32m of barrier and 8 posts.

I just hope that the car can be repaired, and back on the road sooner of later...

He did say that it was repairable. He said he just wants to everytime he looks at it at the moment. He only lives around 20miles from me so will try and catch up with him if possible to see how it's going.
