Who uses their CSL everyday?
As above please, what are they like to live with everyday, I only do short journeys everyday, mostly in traffic with a short burst of dual carriageway, I'm wondering not doing a great deal of work will hurt the car?
Also what are the Cup tyres like to live with in winter? Thanks |

Yep, everyday. My only car, although I have the GSXR for when it is really warm and dry! I find it great, I live for the noise of that lovely straight-six. 10K miles in slightly less than a year, so far. I don't have any dramas but my wife hates it as it is too 'harsh'.
I would suggest you don't do cups in the winter just because they don't like standing water or temps below 6 degrees. I'm borrowing a 997RS on cups at the moment while the CSL is having the ventureshield redone. It feels very edgy! |

yup no bother to live with day to day, mine has been my only car for the past 2 years and i still cant wait to drive it everyday. Mine has just covered 57500k now and running very well. in reality i don't think a CSL is anymore difficult to live with than an M3 the seats are a bit fiddley and it marginally worse on fuel.i've just taken cups off for the winter, they are not to bad in the cold IMO but cold and wet and they just don't give enough braking distance.

Its my daily, covering 14 miles a day to work. Apart from the SSBB at 5.30am waking the neighbours, I feel like im killing it with the short journeys, battery & ticking over the Inspection trip quicker! Im still on the search for daily over the winter. Plus I find driving the CSL everyday makes me feel as if I need something a little more for weekend action, as its my only way of popping to the shops. So when stepping in the CSL after a week+ it will make me appreciate it even more!

Ah thats good to know then, I feel a bit guilty about only doing something like 5 miles a day round trip to work and back, but what's my options, not have one? I dont think so! lol
Fuel I'm not to worried about, i'm used to the M3 guzzling it on ocassions plus I'm not buying a CSL to save the environment The one i'm looking at doesn't have cups on i so thats cool, I think i'll save my pennies and get some cups put on when global warming gets into it's stride in the new year! |

I plan on getting one of these in Jan but I have another car so this will be a weekend car.
I do 30K plus a year. My E90 325 is showing 107000 on the clock. I wouldn't want to do that on a car as special as a CSL. |
