There were more than 422 built.....just 422 that came to the UK. I believe it is relevant and puts your car in sequence of build.
Edit...there would be an original thread of something similar on M-Torque although it was a couple of years ago now. The badges (1 of 422) were produced solely for the UK market by BMW GB. Last edited by m33ufo; 27-06-2009 at 12:52 AM. |

It still doesn't sound right to me as my (your old SG) car was one of the last built in Dec 03 so surely i would be a later build number than 510? Unless of course they built in excess of 1000 CSLs in Dec 03?

Bmw have told us the cars were not in order and so the build numbers dont run like 1/2/3/4 as the cars were pulled of the production line when needed.
