Default thinking of a CSL as a replacement for a 993 rs?

As above, currently have as 911 993 rs and thinking of changing to a CSL and freeing up some cash. Have any owners done something similar? Any feedback appreciated. I am aware that I need to add AP's and potentially suspension, is there anything else? It will be 85% track use.

Thanks in advance

Start with APs or Alcons and upgrade the suspension if the std stuff isn't good enough for you. If it is 85% track, just get cups (not cup+) for your alloys. A set of Scroth 4 point harnesses might be useful too? It is an excellent trackday tool, although so is the 993RS. You'll enjoy it as much!

Quick question, are there any issues with mileage? I noticed one at around £20k with 70k miles, which if I am replacing the suspension and brakes only leaves the engine and box etc

If you've got the full history of a potential 70k car, and it has never gone bang, then I'd say it's absolutely ripe for a serious track caning.

should just get better and better. good luck with choosing one !
