warning
Hi everyone, let me introduce myself, been a lurker on here for a while, and since I sold my e30 M3, iv been looking to buy a car to really fall in love with, eventually ended up with a csl after a 993, then decided the csl wasn't the car for me, bought a 964, then couldn't get the csl out of my head! So today, went back and got my old car back, dtk. I think someone on here was interested in buying at some point, and boy did I make the right move. So a lesson to you all thinking of selling. The grass is not always greener on the other side.

Go for it Shimmy they are awesome road cars but couldn't see me ever tracking it, so make sure you keep a track car.

on contract hire its only about £1000 a year more than a 535d Touring MSport which I was after. Plus of course the extra tax Cant recall if the lease company pays that), fuel, tyres, lack of tow bar,

That sounds good, but would there not be tax implications too?

Yes, it was the eporsce one, and no didn't keep the 64, Mrs would throw a fit. But it's definitely good to be back in a BMW. Even compared to a small 911 like the 964, the csl feels lighter and nimbler, a Dare I say, more fun to drive with the back end swinging round. The 911 was all about grip.

I'm lucky , I have the CSL parked in the garage next to a 964 c2 so I get best of both worlds . The CSL is more playful , but they're both fun in different ways. I also have a 1973 911 which is even more fun again & makes both the CSL & 964 seem heavy |
