Default CSL Nut Caps

Surprised nobody thought of it before, bolt caps alla VW Golf, quick fix for bolt heads not looking their best:

I'm sure I read something recently, asking were such things available - well they are now

Much nicer Matt, than rusty bolt heads, I've got a box full somewhere left over from my Golf'ing days, put away in a safe place wherever that may be

I bought a set of chrome ones a while ago but they're mega long and need hacksawing shorter and not sure i can't be arsed when there's a VW dealer round the corner from me.

Black looks better, maybe...

Nut caps are extra weight.
Best option is to remove the rust with sandpaper and spray the original nuts.

I did a set 4 years ago and they are still holding good even though we have so much salt here

My bolts aren't rusty (the opposite in fact) as I'm running newish extended length bolts with the H&R spacers all round, which are way too shine for my liking

Have bit the bullet and invested in a set for £9.99
Will post up some before and after pics.

If the consensus is poor, I will move them to my parts bin (it's smaller than Shimmy's)

I reckon chemi blacking is way to go if you want to keep your nuts looking good
