Tyre Company who will export?
Guys,
Does anybody know a UK tyre company who will sell to me in Australia VAT free if I organise the collection? Camskill won't. Believe it or not, in most cases in the upper end of the tyre market it is significanlty cheaper to import express freight than buy locally. Thanks |

Only way is to sell to a business, not an individual If you have this then there is really no reason why they shouldn't. |

So a business can't claim the VAT back or not sell with VAT to an individual outside of the UK if they can prove they were exported? Otherwise how does an international individual claim the VAT back?

You can send it without vat to individuals but you then need to compile all the evidence to prove. So they are likely being lazy. Last edited by shane@mbtech; 15-04-2013 at 02:50 PM. |

I've bought tyres from camskill ex vat, using an Irish vat number. You should be able to do it really. Do you have vat numbers in Oz?
