The CSL has a tracker monitor fitted as standard??? I never knew that. Is that seriously true??? Have to say i thought my insurance company would insist on a tracker being fitted - but they have now said its not needed - so unless it reduces my premium by a decent amount then i may not bother getting one fitted - mainly because my attitude is that if some scum bag thieves nick my car then i hope i dont see it again - i dont want it found in a ditch but driveable or fixable - it wouldnt feel like my car anymore etc etc.

Hmmm, at the risk of inflaming Gastro again, I'm afraid that I've got to call bullsh!t on this one. CSLs didn't come out of the factory with a tracker fitted. However, most would've been fitted with one by the supplying dealer at the request of the customer. cslbecks - All of my M3s (inc the CSL) have got Tracker 'trackers' fitted (so to speak). I can never remember if they are the Horizon or Monitor model. Thankfully, I've not yet had to find out how effective Tracker are but I've heard varying reports of the standard of both their Customer Service and the effectiveness of their technology. |

Aha. A new believer! Don't worry though - it just keeps getting better and better.
If I can swing it, hopefully I'll also be at Brands on the 25th. See you there if I can make it. |

Yep - bought the one with 16,000 miles on it - truly MINT - John was a really nice genuine guy and has obviously taken amazing care of the car. Drives like new. The only issue has been the late running in service but car comes with full BMW comprehensive warranty and has had a lot of warranty work done in its life by various dealers regardless of the running in service. Its also had a new diff which i didnt know about. All in all im over the moon. Cant wait to start modding now!!
