Back box
I was rained off at work today,so instead of doing paperwork and our VAT return, which I should of done,I decided to go down the road and see my mate in his garage to see if he could fit my back box purchased over the weekend from a fellow member on here.so up on the ramp she went.Fitting went well,my clamps were not in to bad condition, the bolts and nuts on the other hand were fooked and it took us a little while to cut the bolts and get them out. While my mate undid the nuts for the hangers I lowered the oem box down,it was a lot heavier than I imagined. We then started to put the rubber hangers on the new box and noticed 2 of them were split, but we used them anyway and I have ordered 3 new ones from our local dealer. So it all went a little easier than I thought and the Agency power (we think) rear box fitted well and looks the dogs bollox with the 80mm titainiam tips.I then started her up to check for any leaks around the clamps. The sound is what I wanted, not to much, but a nice snarley sound,I was also a little worried about the drone in the car,but after taking it up a duel carriage way on the way home, this also doesn't seem to bad,the worst being at about 2500-3000rpm but I can live with that as it wasn't to bad,at 6-7k revs it sounds awesome. So all in all I'm a happy bunny and can't wait for some dry weather to go out and scare some animals and old people. pics to follow when I can work out how to do it on a iPad.

Good to hear that you're happy with it Brett, remember it will get a bit louder as time goes on

Brett,
Did it work out to be much lighter in the end then? The 'new' box was 12 kilos according to my bedroom scales. (but then I'm only 8 stone on them too just kidding). Glad you are pleased with it - I wish I'd got around to fitting it to my CSL now.....

Which bolts and gaskets did you buy Brett? And how much were the new rubber hangers please?
