Cool Csl register ring trip 2/09!

As per the title, i'm looking to go back to the Ring for my final visit of 2009 - need to abuse my annual pass one last time!

I know there are a few others on here who are up for this to make it a mini-CSL Register trip and hence more fun! DazBlackCSL, AlexGTT, Alexk, TMAQ, Azrael and maybe even Bealo (if he can be arsed...!)

I can't go this month and the TF track times in October are pretty pants to say the least, so i have a plan...

From Monday 9th of November up to and including Wednesday 18th of November the track opens from 0900-1630 every day! Result!

My thoughts are to pop over late in the week (Fri 13th) and stay over the weekend and into the next week - 5 days or so. That way we cater for those who want a little longer out there with some quality week-day track time and also for those who can only make it over for a weekend visit.

Accomodation and travel should be easy to sort as it's off peak and the Cherry bar would welcome us all i'm sure...! Only snag may be the potential for some marginal weather... If we are there 5 days then i'm sure we will end up with decent time on track! The social would be fun anyway

Any thoughts anyone?

I'm planning to stay at the Ringhaus if i'm there 5 days as it is reasonably priced. I may be able to get a good group rate from Frank if there's enough interest from people?

At the moment i'm going to do this without missus and baby!

As Rob and I discussed, I'm definately in for November but might have to compromise my dates. I now look like having a friends birthday bash weekend to attend over weekend 13-15th Nov. As a result, I'm pushed into the earlier date and do the CATDT weekend and weekdays after. So it's looking like 7th-11th Nov for me now. I'll confirm all this over the next few days so that everyone can make plans. I would prefer to be with everyone but if my dates don't suit it's no problem. I'm happy to be there either way.

My vote goes to live out there.

No worries - just gauging interest - i'm happy to do either week too!

Accomodation may be more of a problem the first week due to the CATDT trip and others doing the same as us though... May need to book soonish!

I'm ready to book early next week once I've sorted out my dates. Agreed, it'll need to be booked asap. There are some good deals on the Tunnel at the moment but they don't hang around for long. Ringhaus is good for me mate. I know most of the CATDT lot stay at Tiergarten. If we end up with the first week we can always do one or two evenings with Balbina in Pistonklause and the rest in Ringhaus.
