Wanted - VANOS Solenoid

Chaps,

Has anyone got a good working condition VANOS Solenoid kicking about?

I know its a shot in the dark, I just need to borrow one for a few days if possible to double check mine, which apparently is toasted therefore not allowing my car to go thru a Vanos test.
I will pay in beer tokens

they don't cost much so why not buy brand new?

True enough, but I don't want to buy a solenoid at £350/£400 to then find out the vanos is stuffed, as you cant buy a new vanos without the solenoid
