One Owner 2004 SG low 40k mileage
Sadly.... the time has come to sell Rocky... Bought the car from Sytner BMW Gerrards Cross (since then they moved to High Wycombe) brand new in March 2004.
Wont bother posting photos up (unless totally necessary) as it's a silver Grey CSL and I think we know what they look like.. What i can say it has a full service History, paint work and carbon fiber is immaculate and PPF (by paintshield).. If anyone is interested feel free to message me directly... cheers. Amit

Car was registered to me in March 2004. Was serviced by Sytner BMW Gerrards Cross / High Wycombe until Summer of 2009, where it has continuosly been looked after by George at Technosport (i have introduced to him a few other CSL members and they too use him)
As for bodywork - it is totally spotless... regularly detailed and has been PPFd. Inside is spotless apart from a small crack on the plastic of the rear seats. The car did have quite a bit of work done on it to modernise it (but this has no been removed to get it back to standard) 1) full supersprint exhaust 2) alcon brakes 3) Moton suspension (£15k cost and only CSL to have this fitted) 4) Pistons / Rockers / Head / ECU all rebuilt and remapped with the assist of George's v good friend who helped develop the Pistons on the Mclaren F1 and now works for Williams F1 The car has now been fully put to standard and so essentially has new standard brakes / suspension / exhaust / engine build & ECU Car has only done just over 40k miles and has never been tracked. £58,000 ono 07966 151 405 no time wasters please xx

Good luck with the sale
Hope you're replacing it with something equally as special!

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread. I came across this just looking for some information about Technosport and George as they seemed to have stopped trading and I was wondering what happened as I knew George well. He looked after my cars when I owned BMWs and I did a fair bit of work for him too and spent a fair amount of time at his workshop. I got bored with BMWs and just fell out of touch with him a few years back.
Anyway, posting as I might be able to shed a little light on this CSL (if anyone still cares about it). Now I can't be 100% sure its the same car, but given the mods and engine work in particular mentioned I think it is. I saw this car often at Technosport and I think it spent more time there than with the owner (who I never met). At one point I saw it damaged (or maybe he just mentioned it I can't be sure as it was a long time ago) and asked what had happened and George told me the owner had just picked it up after all the mods and engine work and when driving on a motorway exit/entry (I think that's right) given it a hefty dose of throttle except that with the car being a fair bit more powerful now than before it span out and ended up in the armco. This happened pretty shortly after he had picked up the car, maybe even the same day or week. Given that it ended up back with George so soon its possible it wasn't ever tracked? Who knows, I'm just speculating. Certainly the accident damage was not track related though. I wonder what ever happened to it. |
