Those with KW V3 - front spacers needed?
I know there's a few of you running the variant 3 - the official installation spec notes that front spacers may be needed - I remember seeing a post by a member on here where the stock wheels rubbed the front spring perch (or was very very close) - can any owners confirm if spacers are needed for the front wheels, or is it only if you drop the front end real low? (if so what ride height before spacers are needed?)
Thanks. |

Im on clubsport which are v3 with different spring/damper rates and camber top mounts.
Im pretty low with -3.5* camber with no rubbing issues on stock rims. Although the stock rims look lost in the arch with no spacer on that camber. Aesthetically I would put spacers on if running any camber, but you wont rub if you dont |

I am running KW V3 with a slightly lower set-up and -2camber.
I needed to install 10mm spacers on the front as the wheel was touching. We did try a higher ride height to see if that would make a difference but it was still too close for comfort. Figas |

Surely camber has no affect on the space between damper/spring and tyre/rim as they move when adjusted as one!

Fairly certain that camber has no bearing on whether it rubs or not - it's an offset and ride height issue I believe.
So for want of a definitive answer - any more confirmations that spacers are required?? |

I have the Clubsport kit and it can run fine with no spacers. I fit 12mm all round ordinarily though
