Hilarious write up in the spec's column on the side bar,
Be interesting to know if a new owners looking to buy a CSL with be bothered about the high mileage? Mines just rolled over to 50k and that hurt, will be a nightmare in 5 years when it gets to 100k. Ando.

You missed a bit - it does 270mpg and it's a 2 Seater First registered before it was built, makes a change from Magnesium wheels I suppose
I think the office junior must have put the add together - having a laugh it's right on their website

Poor right up on pistonheads granted. There own website was correct though.
The car had done 78k within the first 4 years. The previous owner only did 3k in the last 3 years. Full bmw history, new clutch recent brakes all round. Good tyres. Warranty and 107,000 miles . So what I ask you ???? I buy a car on condition not milage. Granted it has an influence. But for the money it's a bargain. Ok let's knock off 36 k miles which would bring it to 70 k add another £6000 to the price. You can do a lot with 6k! I can't understand the snobbery around milage. The car didn't self destruct at 100k. If its maintainance is kept up there's no reason it won't see 200k ! Stop start 70 k car or a used 100 k at a good price . Incase your wondering why I know so much about this car I bought it. And so far it's been a great. Time will tell. And if I do come to sell, any CSL under 20 grand would get a lot if interest . |
