CSL track rim options
Hey guys,
what are you using? I was thinking of getting some track rims. I don't want to shell out a grand for another set of CSL's although I have no problem paying a few quid for a nice set of race wheels, BBS, Team Dynamics, Compmotive etc Does the CSL handle better on the OEM 18's or the CSL 19's? what are you using? As they say, a picture says a thousand words, don't be shy also are the 18' track tyres much cheaper than 19' cups? |

Gloss black CSLs, though if I had to choose again, would go 18 inch as I understand more wheel and tyre choice (and cheaper cups)

i think if you do a small amount of trackdays then just buy CSL rims and stick 19 inch Cups on them. They look better for summer. But 18 inch rims and cups a bit cheaper and you can rotate to lengthen tyre life, plus have a bit more front grip. Just make sure the rims you buy for track are pretty strong an not cheap and brittle!

Just fitted my 18 inch track wheels. Had a little jaunt to the curry house last night to test them out...
