Duncan, I have a good friend who owns a steel fab business in my local town. They specialise in restoring canal barges/cabin cruisers. I'll have a word, see if he know's of something.

You gonna change your name to sailorDuncanR?
Good luck with your hunt, I know a company selling some Offshore Anchor Handlers but might be a bit big for a canal. Would 15,000HP be too much? |

When I heard you had started 'Cruising' Dunc I got entirely the wrong end of the stick
Can't say I was suprised though I'm on the look out for a small dory for day fishing just now, quite a few reasonable bits and bobs pop up on Fleabay, all depends if you can be arsed to travel about looking. Good luck |
