steering wheel.
After hearing of a few people getting new steering wheels from BMW on a goodwill(mark cant close his cupboard door hes got that many)i asked my local dealer to request one for me, it was refused on the first request which is done automatically via the computer system, they have requested it again so will see if its accepted the second time.

No, its not under warranty, its a request to BMW to replace it as a goodwill gesture due to the fact that the car has low miles and the steering wheel has gone that smooth way they all do, the service manager was telling me today that BMW have really tightened up on warranty and goodwill jobs in the last two months so i may not get a new one foc.

I bet there are quite a few members on here that have gotten a new steering wheel under warranty.
