Yep I'm with Pace Ward and have track cover, and they cover my brakes and suspension too.

Pace Ward and HIC both gave me good track and road cover quotes.

My recent post in a similar thread:

I'm now with Competition Car Insurance. They include 4 TDs as part of cover and insure at all UK and European tracks except the Ring

Hi Glendog, thanks for posting that up. I spoke to comp car insurance earlier to sound them out on the csl as your post surprised me!!

I have used them for years and still do for standalone track day cover but when I last enquired about a road policy for the csl, they woudln't do it as they could only do 2 seaters!!

Anyway, they have now changed their policy to cover certain 4 seaters, the m3 being one of them, which is nice.

Anyway, what do you do about the ring? cci have directly said to me that there is no cover whatsoever there!! not even 3rd party! Which afaik is a legal requirement under German law!

Pace Ward do cover the ring but cover is only limited to 3rd party liability so I could take out a standalone policy with cci to cover my own car and hence be fully insured.

The standalone policy does not cover the basic 3rd party requirement, only your own vehicle. Basically just as it would on any track day.

I have basically been told by cci that I would not be insured to drive on the ring on a public day with their road policy.

This is a real PITA for me as I would save the thick end of £400 per year by switching to cci when you take the 4 free track day covers into account. Unfortunately, I feel that I can't take the risk by driving at the ring without proper insurance being in place. I think next year I will perhaps just limit myself to track days at the ring and not bother with Touristfahrten days and make the move to cci. I am however commited to doing at least 2 public days at the ring this year and will no doubt do a couple more too.

One of the guys at cci is looking into this properly for me and if they can offer me the required 3rd party cover on public days, I will move to them like a flash.

If you have any more info, please let me know.

Cheers

Rich

In the past i have used MORIS:

http://www.moris.co.uk

They are pretty competitive on price but still not exactly cheap and the excess is usually 10% of the insured value which means you have to really stack it big time to make it worthwhile!

I have also arranged basic 3rd party cover through Trackcover - their website seems to be down at the moment for some reason though:
