Carrying spare wheels in the car
Chaps,
What's the best way to carry spare wheels in the car? Do you all stand them up on the back seat bench or take the rear seats out? I have wheel bags etc, just thinking what's the best way of carting them around without damaging the rear seat plastic etc |

Just be careful - and be aware that the weight can crack the centre console if folding the seats, so it is worth while putting some pillows under the seat either side to help support the weight off this.

This is the method I use although I think there was someone on here that lay some of them down. This is the best method for space utilization though. I try and put a blanket between the seats to provide extra support to the seat backs.

i take rear seats out its not worth it as the plastic either scuffs or cracks way to easy. 3 wheels on back seat on 2 halfords camping mats and one in boot.
