Default The noise Police at Knockhill noise limit of 105db

This is the email i got today
all this must be after the news about Croft not looking good

SPEED SUNDAY - SUNDAY 25th JANUARY 2009
Remember it's the first SPEED SUNDAY of 2009 THIS SUNDAY at Knockhill, Scotland's National Motorsport Centre. You can still pre-book, saving £10 on the on-the-day price AND it's only £5 to get in, so make it a date!

We will be running alternating sessions for TRACK CARS only and ROAD CARS only. This has proved to be very popular by segregating the two types of vehicles. Remember, if you have a track car, you need to have it scrutineered once a year, for a small cost, which checks all the safety aspects of your car. This lasts for a calendar year, so if you had your car checked in November 2008, your car does not need checked again until November 2009.

Finally, we have a noise limit of 105db for all track cars. If your car is excessively noisy, please sort it before you come on Sunday. We will have our noise meter out doing checks!!

Gates open from 9am, with track action from 10am. See you on Sunday!

Did they not have a noise limit before then Mark?

Standard CSL exhaust is a far bit lower then 105db though. Remember had my Exige noise tested at Coombe and it was 119db....failed on that one and had to get one of those tampon things to go over the end.
