Default Arguements to BMW for both struts/springs replaced

As per title. Some may have seen my post on my 'suspension' ills in the technical section. In short the car is sitting low one side (rear o/s) probably by an inch or two. I took both wheels off for a look see and both sides looked fine. That was after ordering a new strut in anticipation (I know it is usually the springs that go but hey ho). Anyway the strut was special order (it arrived after a weeks wait and had to be paid for upfront) and so I did not get time to sort it out and decided to go through my warranty as I am now out of country.

BMW Maidstone/Aylesford said they would credit the strut against any replacement made through the warranty but also said they would replace only one side if that was all that was broken and not in pairs as others have had done. Are both sides just done as a goodwill gesture?????

So what arguement should I use to get them to do both assuming it is this. I am not sure what else it could be - cracked subframe maybe -????

Perhaps I should just go elsewhere - ELMs. Anyone have anything to support Ashford BMW.

Four years of warranty and I have never claimed AND was turned down on the cracked rear section exhaust bracket!!

dampers should always be replaced in pairs ie both fronts or both rears!

They are talking out their ass!

My experience is the warranty is as good as the supporting dealer. Elms look after you so bite the billet and take it there.
