Default M3 CSL brakes

the calipers in the rear are basically the same except the caliper's piston size is larger. stock is 42mm piston and ZCP is 46mm piston. it's speculated it was designed that way to compensate for bias change of the larger front rotor size and repositioning from the new front carriers

I saw the above posted on another forum and was wondering whether CSL rear brake pistons are different to the regular M3 Coupe :-) ?

Parts systems all say carry over calliper shared with M3 (and then Z4) but unique piston repair set shared with later E90 M3 which could suggest a larger piston?

Rear caliper pistons on CSL are indeed larger than standard M3....
