Gruppe M Back Box!

Hi,

Might have a chance of getting a used Gruppe M Ti Back Box for the CSL at the right money!

I am a little worried about the noise tho, i will be keeping the standard system apart from the Gruppe M anyone have any views or vids with just the rear section fitted?

Si, not had any experience myself but a number have gone back to standard I believe because of the noise.

I've heard the full system requires 105db trackdays - not sure on the back box alone, though the general concensous is that its on the loud side.

Yea might give it a try tho as keeping standard system apart from the gruppe m.

I am getting it a the right price and if i dont like it could just sell it on i guess!

I had a gruppe M on stock Csl, got ride of it rather quickly, got kicked in the ass by police for noise and you can't drive on trackday, rules are changing across EEE, most track are bringing noise limits to 90 or 95db

Even recently at the ring you get turn out at Hadenau gate, got a few contact and Mdrivers kick out theses last weeks...

and GruppeM is a nightmare to drive with on long distance...

I have a Miltek cat back system and that's more than loud enough for me - especially on long journeys and with passengers.

Don't get me wrong, i'd love to have a Gruppe M or Supersprint - but that would be for only for 5% of the time of 'real world' driving...

I have a gruppe m back box. Personally, I love it - loads of boomy noise and I find I am not always trying to drive over 2500 revs to hear some noise. I have had it on for a year now. I have some vids here:

Thats alot louder than mine, and looking at the pics of the Gruppe M one, thats not what mine is.

Thats on my doorstep but not seen your car. I would have surely heard it first however
