How much oil does the CSL consume @ an Oil Service ? Mine's not due an Oil Service for another 10 000 but at that price I'm happy to stock up.

Hi there Oilman...
I've noticed (in the past) that there are two kinds of Castrol 10W60 oils, one of which states "Specifically for BMW M cars" ... what's the difference ? (if any)

It has a good shelf live, approx 5 years or so. Ideal for stocking up.

It takes approx 5.5ltr.

There is no difference, same oil different tub.

TWS is sold through the dealer network and then it is bottled as Edge for the retail market.

For the non M series engines the dealers use Castrol SLX proffesional, again the same oil is sold as Edge to the retail world.
