so you're talking about the 'feeling' of going fast without actually going fast.... could it be because you seat so low that the perception of speed amplifies?
In some regard, you're right but on the other - don't tell me you actually do not enjoy the over - taking power of some cars? You're used to CSL which isn't fast compared to V10s by any stretch of imagination + you love your racing and going fast in circles.....
There's a time and place for everything.
I keep hearing how boring driving fast in a straight line is (if there's such a thing on motorway...) try driving @ 200mph and tell me you're bored.
Watching might be but the same could be said about driving in circles on a race track....

or are we talking about Nordschleife, where acceleration matters as much as cornering ability? M6 / M5 does quite well there. Put it on Corsa / sticky tyres and you gain a lot of time as you well know this.....
