It's a false economy, Fuel is only going to increase so whenever you buy fuel, it's more that likely going to be cheaper than the next time you do (If using the same garage) A fiver will get what? 3 1/2l of Super or Diesel? Which, depending on your driving will get you anything between 10 and 30 miles worth of driving before you have to go back to the Station???

Yeah, I suppose. Maybe he's worried his car will get nicked and he'll have lost that £50 worth of fuel he put in the car the night before. That would nearly double the value of the car... now that's being snobby!
