I say this but did buy one with A/c but rarely use it. It grates with me that there is a loss of power if you use it  . In short I bought one with A/c as it is 'expected' on resale.

On summer track days with extended lappage solutions it can get very hot inside the car and most sweaty (I don't sweat easily wither) nice to have air con for the cooldown laps. Also if driving to the HungaroRing in summer then AC essential (Ok the Nurburgring too). It is also looked at for resale as Pip says.
Agree though that the pure CSL is the optionless one, often referred to as poverty spec.
