It would'nt cost more than £10-15 per tyre to send i think.

Tyres obviously have a shelf life - normally up to 10 years max but with Cup tyres this is lessenedas they harden and lose their 'stickyness' over time if sat unused.

Tyre DOM markings are on the sidewall in a week/year format, i.e. 0304 = week 03 of 2004. Like this:
