Is the oil light still on? If so, have you tried the 'quick' oil level check? I can't remember the procedure off the top of my head but you'll find it in the manual.
As for the low tyre, that just sounds like par for the course from a BMW dealer, I'm afraid. They had probably given the job to a YTS kid. Good thing that you picked up on it though.

Oil light went after turning the engine off and back on but as you say I will put a drop in.
I couldnt find the oil check procedure in the manual but read on here that it is as follows:
Engine running and warm on level ground, hold the sport button down while having the oil level showing on the dash.
My power steering pump is noisy also on turning the wheel while stationary... like leaving a parking space.
So glad I went for BMW dealer warranty, worth its weight in gold for peace of mind.
