Digital ones will be more accurate but the cheaper ones do the job just as well. Best way is to mark up the top mounts to the levels you want but as you say its not 100% accurate. Remember when you do it to make sure its on level ground and also role the car forward and back before you measure so its right. DT's sell them I think.
