Update….finally decided I'd had enough of the dreaded slur so booked it into Stockport BMW, they had previously recalibrated the clutch biting point but that didn't cure it, told them I thought it must be the clutch (45k miles on same clutch as far as I'm aware), the tech guy took it out and thought it was the diff, the clutch is fine, they phoned me up and said it was a warranty item so replaced it, got it back 3 days ago....I was a little dubious to say the least......day 1-took it out and it felt the same (very disappointed)....day 2-decided to give the
SMG software a chance to learn the new 'non slipping' diff, hmmmm improvement, the waaaaarrrrrggghhhh ching into gear reduced.....day 3(today)-jesus H christ I've got whiplash!! Its banging into gear like it used to, only slight hesitation but I think that will be cured with a little more ‘spirited’ driving tomorrow morning.

Will update tomorrow night with results, off to bed for an early start.

that`s a result if it`s cost you nothing mines in at bolton getting clutch flywheel etc unfortunatly its costing me £1800
