Remove the seat side cover so you can access the tiny grub screw that holds it in. You may need to jury rig some sort of grips to pull what is left of the handle down to access the screw. Once the screw is removed, what is left will slide off.
As Tom has intimated the CSL one is just a cut down standard M3 item anyway (with the grub screw retaining hole drilled into it after being shortened). The reason it is so expensive from BMW is you're paying for Hans's labour rates to cut it down and drill instead of you doing it yourself
