Well, after thinking about it for a few years I'm finally sorting my race licence and booking ARDS at Castle Combe for Spring. Vintage and Historic stuff for me and a little bit forced into it if I'm honest. Share ownership of a 1948 single seater with a Norwegian. Car hasn't been raced for 30 years but has just been invited to attend a few prestigious events because of it's racing history. The other guy can't make the various dates but we have agreed it has to attend and run for the sake of it's value alone. Therefore it's down to me!
My guys have just stripped it down for a comprehensive re-fresh and improvements. However, non of your newfangled safety stuff here like roll cages and harnesses, so I'm a little nervous!  Hillclimbs first off, so Chateau Impney, Prescott, Shelsley Walsh and maybe Goodwood FOS first events. |
