Can't disagree with that, but it seems cars with less technology do far better than those with. Air cooled Porsche have done very well.
996RS's can still be bought for circa £60k, same sort of price as E30 M3 Sport Evo's from 13 years prior.
& the 6RS was twice the cost of the E30.
It is a lottery to an extent, and also about easy money. And racing history.
