I now have the print out of all work completed by BMW and it shows 170hours of boot floor replacement in 2014, so just about 5,000 miles ago, together with current inspection showing all clear.

It’s only 2 owners and it’s been in a stored collection for part of that time so it was likely not seen out and about much. Its all BMW service history, but it has a time gap in the history...
